Answers- 1. In the dry parts of the Sahara, it is very hot. Hot as in anywhere from 90 degrees to 125 degrees.
2. Near the Nile, there is water( of course ) so they wouldn't have to haul water as far as the Tuareg. Also, they could cool down since they have water close by to use, where the Tuareg wouldn't have close water to cool off with, or to clean the blue off their skin from their clothing.
3. They use the salt that is in their area. They use face coverings to shield them from dust storms.
4. By adapting and preparing for it. For example- being prepared for a harmattan. A harmattan is a strong, dry wind that blows in winter, that carries strong clouds of sand and dust.
5. Farmers use irrigation to add water to dry land, crops, and wherever they need water. Irrigation systems are not used for drinking water though.
6. The Sahel region is being eroded. It is also going through desertification. Desertification is when a change happens from productive land to desert.

1. The Savanna has two seasons. One where it is rainy for like two or three months, then the rest of the time, it is dry. Sahara has unpredictable weather and is usually hot.
2. Herbivores depend on the weather for rain and sunshine for their food. Carnivores depend on the herds of animals for their food.
3. They are joining because they want to be able to have people and animals cross the borders.
4. National parks are problems to farm land owners because they do not want them to kill anyone and they dont want to share ground.
